The Cowboys necessity that must be addressed before facing the Lions
There is no secret that the Dallas Cowboys sit in a very good position in the NFC East. They are just one game behind the Washington Commanders for first place in the division and the Philadelphia Eagles have not looked good lately.
The New York Giants have their own problems and everything seems to going Dallas’s way, however there is one thing that the team needs to address and as soon as possible for them to really be competitors in the conference.
CeeDee Lamb is a force at wide receiver, but there is also some inconsistency at times and his rant at Dak Prescott earlier in the seasons proves that he can off at times. Therefore, the teams a solid number two even after what happened Sunday night.
Looking for depth at the position
Jalen Tolbert was very reliable during the team’s win in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. He caught seven balls for 87 yards and the winning touchdown and while he could emerge alongside tight end Jake Ferguson, there is still a need for more.
KaVontae Turpin has been good but they can’t wait for him to be consistent. That is why the team has worked out to wide receivers this week with the idea of adding a player that can help on offense soon.
Former San Francisco 49ers wideout Dante Pettis and former New York Jets Denzel Mims are hoping for a chance to be a Cowboy this week and it is something it should happen fast, as their next games are a challenge because they will face The Detroit Lions and the Niners with a bye week in between.
