Neighbours‘ Toadie Rebecchi makes a big mistake next week as he tries to rush his reunion with Terese Willis.
The married couple appear to be on very different pages as their long-term future remains uncertain.
Terese recently decided to continue living with Toadie, providing hope that she could move past his devastating betrayal.
Toadie slept with his ex-wife Melanie Pearson earlier this year, but now hopes to save his marriage. Although things are looking far more positive, Terese has made no definitive promises to Toadie over their future.
Next week, Terese continues to focus on the Eirini Rising project as she tries to win over a wealthy widow called Shirley Burchmore.
Shirley and her friends have agreed to tour the retirement complex, although their visit clashes with Terese and Toadie’s plans for a relationship-rebuilding date.
Toadie knows how important Shirley’s approval is to Terese, so he cancels their plans so that she can focus on work.
He also goes a step further by promising Shirley and her friends that they can have free legal services via Rebecchi Law if they sign up with Terese quickly.
Later, Toadie and Terese prepare to attend Karl Kennedy’s celebratory party at The Waterhole, marking the doctor’s final day at the Erinsborough Hospital before he starts work at Eirini Rising.
Terese thanks Toadie for his help with Shirley and pulls him in for a hug, but Toadie misreads the moment and moves in for a kiss.
