Leo gets a valuation on the share house. It’s not worth as much as he’d like, but it should cover the immediate financial distress.
Krista reports the bad news to her housemates. Mackenzie and Haz privately suggest that Krista could buy the house, but they agree it’s too awkward for a housemate to also be a landlord, and so they will start looking at other rentals.
When they realise how dire the rental market is, however, they cave and ask Krista if maybe she’d be interested in buying. Krista is delighted by the idea, wishing she’d thought of it, and offers the idea as a solution to Leo. But Leo once again refuses the handout, leaving Krista frustrated by his stubbornness.
When Krista informs the housemates it’s a no-go, Holly decides to take matters into her own hands, announcing that she’s going to figure out the identity of the poisoner herself.
Meanwhile, Nell visits Dex, but more as an excuse to see if JJ was there with him. He’s not, but she stays to draw more of the ‘Dex-Truction’ character with Dex, who’s delighted that his crush has come to hang out.
Nell comes back the next day when JJ is there, and they’re both excited to see each other. She brings Dex another sketch, igniting the love triangle even more.
Remi notices Gavin Bowman looking at Dex’s file, despite no longer being his physician, and warns him off. She reports the incident to Stevie Hart. After a reprimand, Gavin confronts Remi, claiming his remarks were merely locker-room banter.
Remi reports the remarks to Stevie, who is sympathetic to Remi. She does however reveal that Gavin has a new theory about Dex’s poisoning that might be worth hearing out.
Remi relays this dilemma to Cara and they ponder if they should accept Gavin’s obnoxious assistance for Dex’s sake, no matter how galling it might be.
Later, Andrew informs Leo that there’s been another poisoning. How will this affect Leo?
