Bachelor Nation fans fell in love with Joey Graziadei on Season 28 of “The Bachelor,” where he found love with fiancée Kelsey Anderson.
Now, the former Bachelor is training and competing on Season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside former Bachelorette Jenn Tran.
This past week, Joey decided to give his fellow dancers a little taste of the “Bachelor” experience during one of their rehearsals.
In a hilarious new video posted by Olympic medalist Ilona Maher, she and pro dancers Jenna Johnson and Alan Bersten go through a “shoe ceremony” and wait to see if Joey hands them a dancing shoe instead of a rose.
The video starts off with Joey nervously rubbing his hands together and saying, “Thank you all for coming. This was really hard for me, but I know what I have to do.”
Very dramatically, Joey hands out the first shoe to his dancing partner Jenna and asks, “Jenna, will you accept this shoe?”
Jenna happily accepts, and then the video shows Alan and Ilona nervously waiting for the second shoe to be given out.
But before Joey hands out the final shoe, another pro dancer, Brandon Armstrong, steps into frame to act as Bachelor Nation Host Jesse Palmer.
He says, “Ladies, gentleman, this is the final shoe of the night,” then pats Joey’s shoulder as he walks away.
Ilona and Alan start bickering back and forth and Ilona says, “Nice try. He’s seen me do the cha-cha slide, so good luck.”
Joey decides to give the last dance shoe to Alan, and as they hug, Alan turns back to the Olympic rugby player and says, “Take that.”
Drama then heats up as Ilona gives an interview and gets emotional as she shares, “I thought Joey and I had something when we did the cha-cha slide together the other day, and I thought that he… I’m sorry, can we cut the camera?”
She then sobs as she walks out of the room and dramatic music swells.
Bachelor Nation fans and alumni loved the parody video and were calling it “the most dramatic season” of “Dancing with the Stars” ever.
Ilona captioned the video, “I can’t believe @joeygraziadei would mug me off like that,” and his fiancée Kelsey Anderson commented, “You’d get my shoe @ilonamaher.”
Joey also commented with a bunch of laughing emojis and wrote, “I knew what I had to do.”
Love it!
We love seeing Joey have so much fun with his fellow dancers and we’re excited to continue cheering on both Jenn and Joey during this season of “DWTS.”
Hopefully they bring the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy home to Bachelor Nation!
