Bachelor Nation fans saw Gerry Turner look for love on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor.”
While he and Theresa Nist ended up going their separate ways, the two are still extremely supportive of each other.
Gerry also made history as the show’s very first Golden Bachelor, and the series brought in millions of viewers each week.
Now, “The Golden Bachelor” is being recognized by the Critics Choice Awards with two nominations.
The show received a nod for Best Relationship Show and Gerry himself was nominated for Male Star of the Year in their Real TV Awards categories.Instagram
Gerry took to Instagram to share the exciting news and posted a screenshot from his daughter, who wrote, “No one was a bigger star than dad!”
Alongside the photo, the former Golden Bachelor said, “Thank you for the messages of congratulations for the Critics Choice Male Star of the Year nomination! And, did you notice Golden Bachelor was also nominated for Best Relationship Show?!”
The award show takes place Saturday, June 15, in Los Angeles, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted on the Bachelor Nation nominations.
