The Bachelorette season 21 won’t be coming to ABC in June (but we do know when it’s coming)

While new seasons of The Bachelorette have previously kicked off in May or June, the wait for Jenn Tran’s season of the show will be a bit longer than fans might hope.

With the fall shows having signed off for the summer, it’s time for our favorite summer series to finally make their returns to the primetime lineup! Several hit summer staples such as America’s Got Talent, Big Brother, and The Bachelorette will soon be returning with new episodes, but the wait for certain shows is going to be a bit longer than others including The Bachelorette.

Although new seasons of The Bachelorette at one point arrived as early as May, newer seasons have been coming later and later in the year and, sadly, that’s the case with Jenn Tran’s season of the show as well. Summer might be kicking off in June, but the new season of The Bachelorette will not be kicking off this June as ABC is instead holding the season for July. That’s right, we’re going to have to wait until July for Jenn’s season to begin but the good news is that the wait won’t be too crazy.

The Bachelorette returns on July 8

Season 21 of The Bachelorette will begin on July 8 which is the second Monday of the new month. This premiere date is on par with recent seasons of the show which have also kicked off in July, and means that the show is likely to run through the summer wrapping sometime in late August or early September.

After winning over the audiences at home during Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, Jenn is ready to begin her own search for love as the lead of the new season of The Bachelorette. She’s also making some history in the process by becoming the first Asian lead of the franchise, and we’re so ready to see Jenn’s journey to find her person after failing to find love on The Bachelor.

We should be in for an amazing season as Jenn was one of the season’s standout contestants, bringing such a natural light to Joey’s season as a true standout. She’s kind, compassionate, and so funny, and we’re ready for another bold lead to step into the spotlight and take us on what is sure to be a can’t-miss journey!

While we have to wait until July to see Jenn’s journey begin, her season kicks off what will be an exciting stretch of time for Bachelor Nation. As soon as Jenn’s season wraps, we’ll have just a few weeks before the historic first season of The Golden Bachelorette begins in the fall!

Don’t miss the season 21 premiere of The Bachelorette on Monday, July 8 at 8/7c on ABC!
